WELCOME TO HIDDEN VALLEY CAMPGROUND & RV PARK!

We offer a secure campground in the valley and therefore we personally check all of our guests in. Please be sure to arrive before the store closes. Site numbers are tentative as we may have to adjust to accommodate longer stays & groups. We do our best to keep you in the site you booked. If you have made a reservation with a locked site feature, those sites are guaranteed.

Our booking link offers the most up-to-date information on prices as they are subject to change from time to time.

STORE HOURS:

Staffing constraints may impact store hours so please always call ahead if you are unexpectedly running late. We want to ensure a happy and successful arrival. (250) 253-1322

SITE FEES INCLUDE:

1 vehicle,

1 sleeping unit,

2 adults (18 years & older)

2 kids (17 years & younger)

1 pet, if applicable.

Site maximum is 6 persons (no more than 4 adults) and 2 pets. You are responsible for all persons & pets registered with your party and all costs associated with your stay.

ADDITIONAL SOULS:

$6.00 per person aged 18 years & older, per night.

$5.00 per person aged 17 years & younger, per night.

$5.00 per pet, per night.

PARKING:

Only one vehicle can be in the Valley at a time. If additional parking is required, please ensure it is reserved and the fee is $8.50 per night.

TENTING SPECIAL NOTE:

Children’s tents may be pre-approved by the office and are $20.00 per night. These may be added to an RV booking. Please call ahead.

We do not allow tenting on the 30-amp RV sites.

PETS:

Your pet is welcome as part of your family. When you leave the property, they go with you. All pets must remain on leash or secured in your site. Please ensure that even off trails you clean up after your pets.

There is a fabulous off-leash dog park on the lake (Canoe Beach Park). A 5-minute car ride away!

While it is hard to imagine not all guests love dogs or feel safe with dogs, we must consider everyone’s needs therefor, incessant barking or a dog running free could result in you being asked to leave.

BURNING POLICY:

Smoking: This includes marijuana. Please take EXTRA care with cigarettes and put butts in secure waste bottles. Never on the ground please.

Please do not smoke in any of the campground buildings or children’s playground.

FIREWOOD:

Do not bring wood into our park. If you did not buy it here, please don’t burn it in our campground. Help protect our forest.

**Do not burn ANYTHING you find in our park.

IF WE ARE IN FIRE BAN, NO wood campfires, candles, tiki lights, sky lanterns, fireworks, or charcoal briquettes. Remember extra care with cigarettes.

Propane fire pits are a great option in a FIRE BAN (or any time 😊). Come check out the propane fire pits we rent and sell at competitive prices.

Propane tanks are also available. Deposit required on all rentals. ** These still get hot so always take precautions to ensure we all have a safe camping experience!

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We have committed to reserving a site for you, and as such, are turning others away. Your commitment to us, is that you will pay for your site or cancel with enough notice, as described, to allow us to re-book it for others. A 25% commitment fee is due and payable upon booking and is not refundable.

For all bookings in July & August we have a 60-day, no refund cancellation policy. This applies to, nightly rentals, weekly and long weekend rentals.

For regular night stays in May, June, and September we have a 30-day, no refund cancellation policy.

For long weekends in May, June and September we have a 45-day, no refund cancellation policy.

For event weekends, groups and special bookings, please speak with office staff regarding deposits and cancellation policies.

There are NO REFUNDS for, eviction, changes in plans, leaving early, inclement weather, or any other reason.

Special considerations:If our Provincial Government prohibits interprovincial travel, deposits will be refunded; commitment fees are NOT refundable.

OTHER IMPORTANT ITEMS OF NOTE:

This property is privately owned, and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or guests’ property or for loss of money or valuables of any kind. The use of the laundry facilities is at your discretion and risk. Hidden Valley is not responsible for damage to clothing or personal items.

CONDUCT UNBECOMING:

You will be asked to leave immediately if found damaging or destroying our property, other’s property. Cutting down trees and burning materials found in our campground is considered damage. We will not accept anyone who is being abusive to anyone within our park. Loud late-night gatherings or RCMP involvement will result in you being asked to leave immediately. If this occurs, no refunds are given.

Please be a kind fellow camper, respect your neighbours, our staff, and property.

Excessive site cleaning & garbage removal or damages to the property or structures will be charged to your credit card. Damage deposits will be used prior to this charge but if the cost is over and above the deposit you are responsible for the repair costs.

COMMUNICATION:

We work very hard to give you a clean, safe environment to enjoy while away from home. If you see a problem, please let us know as soon as possible so we may deal with it in a timely manner. If you are really happy, please tell the world through your favourite social media and consider a gratuity for the hardworking staff who serve you.

Welcome to Hidden Valley Campground & RV Park

Please note that we are following the BC Provincial Government and Minister of Health’s mandates and guidelines for the safety, health, and well-being of all persons, including staff, using this Park.
At the time of this writing:

  • A MASK or FACE COVERING covering nose, mouth, and chin is MANDATORY when entering or remaining in, or at, any building on the property. This includes at check-in.
  • Social distancing of 2 meters is required for anyone not in the same household.
  • A strict “No visitor policy” will be in effect all season.

SITES AND FEES:

All site numbers are tentative as we may have to adjust sites to accommodate individuals & groups. We reserve the right to assign and reassign sites as we see fit.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Site fees include 1 vehicle,1 sleeping unit, 2 persons aged 18 years & older, and 2 persons aged 17 years & younger, and 1 pet, if applicable.
  • Additional persons staying in the same sleeping unit are $6.00 per person aged 18 years & older and $5.00 per person aged 17 years & younger, $5.00 per pet, per night.
  • Only one vehicle can be in the Valley at one time.
  • If additional parking is required for extra vehicles, boats, trailers, etc., the parking spaces must be reserved and are $8.50 per night.
  • We do not allow tenting on the 30-amp RV sites.
  • Children’s tents, $25.00, for persons aged 17 years and younger, must be preapproved by management before arrival and restrictions do apply.
  • Site maximum is 6 persons (no more than 4 adults) and 2 pets without a buffer zone.
  • You are responsible for all persons & pets registered with your party and all costs associated with your stay.

Please respect the persons around you. We do ask that you do not smoke in any of the buildings or in the children’s playground. Ensure that all smoking materials are properly extinguished.

RESERVATION/CANCELLATION POLICY INFORMATION: Your commitment fee of 25% of total fee for all site bookings is payable upon booking and is non-refundable.

  • For regular stays in May, June, and September, a 30-day CP with 1 – 3 days deposit.
  • For event weekends, long weekends, groups, special bookings, longer stays, please speak with office staff regarding deposits and cancellation policies.
  • For all bookings in July & August, a 60-day, no refund, cancellation policy.
  • There are NO REFUNDS for cancellations, eviction of site, changes in plans, leaving early, inclement weather, or any other reason.
  • You have expected a commitment from us to turn all others away from the site you are in; We also expect you to honour that commitment to us.
  • Special considerations: If our Provincial Government prohibits interprovincial travel, deposits will be refunded; commitment fees are NOT refundable.
  • High season: mid June to July and August have a 60-day cancellation period. Your site fees must be paid in full 60-days in advance or upon booking if less than 60-days.
  • Low season: 30-day cancellation period.
